Vivian conjures her tenebrous visions from the depths of experimental media, weaving darkness and light through photography, moving image and sonic landscapes. Hailing from Budapest, Hungary she followed the calling of London and New York City, haunting the underground art scenes where her work excavates the shadowed spaces between visual and auditory perception. These visions are further accelerated by her collaborative project ‘Vampiros Kosmos’ with NY based producer Paul Kerin. This duo operates in the realms of industrial noise and film music. Vivian and V.K’s uncompromising approach to sonic exploration has manifested in select ritualistic performances and installations, sharing darkness with avant-garde luminaries Kenneth Anger, Genesis P-Orridge, and Dash Snow.
